Australian Maritime Safety Authority

The Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) is a regulatory safety agency whose role includes delivery of services to Australia in maritime safety, search and rescue and protection of the marine environment from ship-sourced pollution.

AMSA is also the managing agency of Australia’s National Plan to Combat Pollution of the Sea by Oil and Other Noxious and Hazardous Substances.
