Mr Peter Mannion
Senior Associte, Middletons Moore & Bevins, Sydney

Peter was admitted to practice in 1991 in South Africa. Since 1996, Peter has worked as a commercial P&I correspondent in Sydney dealing with all aspects of P&I related matters for various Clubs and Owners.

Whilst in South Africa, Peter worked for Safmarine Limited, South Africa's largest shipping company, as Corporate Counsel and with the Cape Town law firm Fairbridge, Arderne & Lawton in their shipping department. Peter joined Middleton's Transport & International Trade Group as a Senior Associate in 2000.

Peter obtained a Masters of Laws Degree from the University of Cape Town's Marine & Shipping Law Institute in 1996, focusing on Marine Resources Law and International Law of the Sea. He has a broad experience with ship owners, charterers and P&I Clubs . Peter has a particular interest in casualty work and pollution matters.
